What are the chances of running into someone you know in the big apple?

Ran into my secondary school teacher at a Thai restaurant between 101st and 100th street. She didn't recognize me.. prolly cuz she never taught me. We talked for abit. She said she just finished her Masters and is going back TMR to work at MOE.

She asked how many more years I have here and when I said 3, she said I was so lucky.
