It is 2:39. A little more than an hour since I've just got on the plane. I'm on my way to Vienna. WOOHOO!! Or so I hope. Two Viennese people(I assume because they were speaking fluent German), sat next to me. It is a three-seater and I was at the window. I immediately took out my Vienna guide and German phrase book. As I plucked up enough courage to ask a phrase in German "Sprechen Sie Englisch?" "Do You speak English?", they went away to sit someplace else.. :(... But it was kinda a blessing in disguise because now I hve three spacious seats to myself! I could jump around and spill stuff all over! ahahaha!
;) I was deeply immersed in the 'Memoirs of a Geisha' until I got a whiff of the chicken or fish I was gonna have for lunch. A menu was given before that and I had already set my mind on the Pan Fried Dory Fish in sweet and sour sauce accompanied with braised pakchoy, buttered carrots(You jealous Yong Rui? HAHA) and steamed basmati rice. However, Ricky, the air steward told me there wasn't anymore fish so I had no choice but to torture my palette by eating the Mexican Chicken served with sauteed carrots, zucchini and mashed potatoes. hahaha. kidding.. Sounds appetising? Well. It doesn't look appetising at all. uh uh. Let's see what we have on the mini tray once again:
1) Spiced Chicken with Thai dressing on Oriental beans sprout salad2) A plain biscuit and butter. hmm.. *an eyebrow lifted3) a piece of soft bread that reminds me of the puff at the top of a chef's hat.4) White silk Cappuccino Cake.. Looks kinda yummy,,5) A plastic cup of water6) The usual Fork, Knife, Spoon and Stirrer.5) A mini mars bar6) and a small slice of cheese.
The time now is 2:55. I would like to write more but considering my forever-hungry tummy, I'd better stop. I shall write again soon, whenever I feel like it. :)
