My favorite fleamarket. I always manage to dig up some vintage/antique treasures.

A Londoner who doesn't speak nor look like one. A really sweet soft-spoken man who (according to a man who takes pics of him every week) shops at the flea market and nearby in totally different "weird" outfits.

Socarrat Paella Bar.

Sangria... err.. not a huge fan of alcohol but they ordered a pitcher. I didn't finish it. Had a slight headache after that.

THIS! THIS IS IT! This is my favorite food in the world besides fried white carrot cake, honey chicken wings, har gao, char siew soh, chee cheong fun, ju kueh, THE vegetable dumplings, mee pok ta, hainanese roasted chicken rice, fish soup at the bak ku teh store, auntie's cereal prawn, charzarella sandwich etc. - SEAFOOD PAELLA. There was a fancier name for it. I can't remember. This savoury yellow rice absorbed the sweet seafood juices. what more can I say?

socarrat. /sokarat/ n. 1. seductive caramelization of the bottom layer of a perfect paella when the liquid is absorbed and the rice is done. OOH LA LA MA MA MIA!

Shan's cousin Jo Ann and her ABC husband Ricky. Really sweet couple who bought the dinner. :)

Crème caramel, flan, or caramel custard is a rich custard dessert with a layer of soft caramel on top, as opposed to crème brûlée, which is custard with a hard caramel top.
